Sharp Shinned Hawk

This is a sharp shinned hawk that has caught a yellow rumped warbler.  The hawk is looking up, as if another bird of prey is a threat from above.  This was carved in February 2008.

This is a scene from the Indio/Pacific oceans. It was carved in 2004 from tupelo wood.
