Nut-Hatch

This Nut-Hatch was entered into the 2011  Artistry In Wood show in Anchorage in February.  It is carved from Tupelo.  It, as are all of the birds, was painted by my wife Betty.  She is also the "quality control person" for all of my carvings.

16" Rainbow Trout

This trout is going after salmon eggs on the bottom of the stream.  The trout, and rocks are carved from Tupelo wood, which  I use for most of my carvings.  Tupelo is found in many of the southern states.
